Dremel Rotary Tool Review: So Adaptable & Works For Everything

My favorite tool is the Dremel Rotary tool. They make them so adaptable now. You can use different size chucks so you can use different size cutting tools, sanders, etc.

The chucks usually come in at least 1/4" to 3/8" size so you can use cutting tools made by other companies other than Dremel. That's what makes it so adaptable.

My favorite thing to do with my Dremel tool is to cut things that I can't cut any other way. Scissors and knives don't work in every situation, but a Dremel cutting blade does!

The cutting blades are either made out of metal or out of a sandpaper wafer. One time I was trying to change a toilet seat but there didn't seem to be any way to remove it. I'm a woman and I sometimes don't know how things are put together so I just use some common sense to figure out things.

I used the Dremel rotary tool to cut through the plastic latches that seemed to be holding the seat in place and it worked. I use my tool for unconventional things like cutting through a solid bamboo stick. You can't begin to cut that with a saw but the Dremel rotary tool got through it.

It comes with different kinds of sanders. Some are made with a barrel covered with sandpaper and others are made of felt so you can use it to sand wood and smooth jewelry wires which is what I use it for. You can also get diamond tipped bits to do glass endraving.

There are many different sizes of tips which can be used for wood burning and some of the bits have curved thick blades in them which you can use for wood carving which I also do.

The Dremel rotary tool will do just about anything you need done in small spaces.
